A really simple question, whats the difference between the Gaming version of a graphics card and a non gaming version? The gaming one should be a little more expensive but with this one's not the case. So i want to pickup a 1060 and i was wondering whats the difference between Asus GeForce GTX 1060, 6GB, GDDR5, Strix Gaming and a Asus GeForce GTX 1060, 6GB, GDDR5, ROG Strix OC? Im looking for the more powerfull one, ofcourse for gaming.

This is the faster of the two cards , I own it , great card.

It's called marketing.

ASUS has a couple thousand GTX 1060 ROG class graphic cards which they will sell. They also have several tens of thousands GTX 1060 cards which don't match the "ROG" specs, so they classify them as "gaming" cards simply because the word, "Gaming" increases sales.

So ultimately the OC one's better, right?
