What's the point of 2715x1527?

The only difference I see between (2715x1527) and (1920x1080) is text, which ultimately becomes blurrier when 1527p is enabled. Is there a pixel difference I'm not seeing? Is there a point to it?

Er, isn't that an nvidia downscale thing?
Its intended for gaming i believe. It is rendered at a higher resolution and then downscaled for pixel definition.

Pretty sure its just for gaming.
