What's the required GPU to get PS4-like performance?

Is there any budget gpu in the market able to match the PS4?
Because I recently got an R9 280 and it doesn't seem to be anywhere close to the PS4

The geforce gtx 480 is quite close and super cheap, but I would recommend keeping your r9 280 as it will DEMOLISH any ps4.
