What's the typical lifespan of a quality PSU?

Just curious to know how many years a good quality 80 plus rated PSU is supposed to last for?

Minimum of five years, I'd say... unless it's defective.

I've had quality PSUs last through three builds and eight to ten years.

A quality PSU will easily last 5yrs, but its recommended to start considering to change them out after three. PSU's do degrade over time as the capacitors wear out.
