Whats the weakest link in this system?

I know this system if very low end, but my computer recently caught fire and i have no money to build another so i scrounged up what i could.

AMD Athlon II x4 645
Zotac GeForce GT640 2gb GDDR3
1tb HDD
6 GB RAM
WIN10
380 watt PSU (yes i know)

Good choice of budget graphics card BTW. Not high end, but it will get the job done.

I dont have a manual for my Mobo and i cant find any identifiers on it, but is there a better AM3 chip? I've been lookin for Something a little better, but this PSU gives me a bit of low headroom. Im literally using and old prebuilt i have sitting around that i shoved a GPU into. The prebuilt model info is the Acer X1420g-U5832 if that helps

Older socket unfortunately. It think it might offer a bit of a boost. Honestly, you wont be running AAA titles on your computer, but it should run things like CSGO no problem.

Probably not worth investing money in old hardware, although maybe you could find a good CPU used for a good price, or a better graphics card.

What about a Phenom x6 1100t? Also just figured out this shit PC only has a *220*w PSU. Even worse

Phenom II X6 - will be compatible with your MOBO, good price to, looks like it is abut $80 used.

Im currently lookin on reddit for a new case/PSU for my current system so that i can look to get one of these in the future. do you know if i would have to update the BIOS or not?

With a 220W PSU, the PSU is definitely the weak link. Junk PSUs that are pushed to the limit can occasionally be firestarters of their own (though simply frying the components is more common).
