Discussion whats the white square about

Task manager, if I select Memory and then pick CPU, it leaves a white box around header for memory

is it just a visual bug? as if I select another column it stops, or sometimes I have to click the column that is highlighted to stop it.
it only seems to do it on CPU & Memory tabs

1. if I clear it,
2. then take focus off Task manager,
3. and then click on task manager again, it shows up

sometimes it shows for a split second and then disappears. this happens on the Disk and Network columns.

I blame 24H2. Probably just a bug

I just tried it on my end, I don't see what you're experiencing. I went through the same sequencing as you've stated but I'm also on 23H2, cough cough.

its not like its hurting anything, just a glitch.

Try different color schemes etc..

Determine if the observed behavior changes.

Appears to only happen on the dark theme, the outline effect doesn't happen on light, so possibly a fault in how dark theme works in Task manager. Might give them feedback
