Question What's up with my pc performance and cooler

In the past my cooler was always making a noise and my pc was running extremly smooth. Now, rarely after my pc is on for a few hours and I play something the cooler starts making a noise and the laptop works better just like in the past. What can I do about it?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. List them like so:

Considering that this is a laptop, hint given in second sentence, we'll need to know the make and model of your laptop(as well as it's SKU). Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard and get back to us with the version of your OS.
