whats up with these GTX 980 scores

CPU: AMD FX 8350 at base clock of 4.00GHz
RAM: Kingston HyperX Blu w/Heat spreader (8GB at 2x4GB rated for 1600MHz)
GPU: GTX 980 gigabyte windoforce
MOBO: Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 AMD 60G
PSU: 600 Watts Corsair CX600 Gaming power supply

I use a 120m corsair seidon water cooler for my cpu



Im concerned as to if these are ok scores: (read below :) )

3DMARK firestrike 1.1 (Standard 1920x1080): 8479

Unigine Heaven 1920x1080 ULTRA quality, extreme tessellation and full 8xAA fullscreen:
Score was 1536
FPS: 61.0
MIN FPS: 16.8
MAX FPS: 127.5

Unigine Valley 1920x1080 8xAA fullscreen Extreme HD preset (direct3D11)
Score was 2245
FPS: 53.7
MIN FPS: 15.6
MAX FPS: 105.7

Ill be so grateful for your thoughts, if you think there is an issue or spot a problem please inform me :)
 


for benchmarks those are fairly low, similar to most 970's stock
 
FFS sake just spent ages writing advice then it said i had to register and it deleted all my advice so I will make this short I just recently added another 680 to my comp so is roughly equivalent to your 980 i have a 2500k rough equivalent to your cpu my scores were low I overclocked my CPU and my scores in valley got a lot better indicating a cpu bottleneck, Follow a guide when you overclock and don't push CPU temps past 85 degrees.
