what's up with this Black Friday thing?

the time of black friday is not a new thing to Americans. in my country and for me it is very barely existent. i am new to this kind of scene.

i keep seeing this black friday early online deals that keep popping up all over the internet. is that it or is there usually major changes if i look on the actual black friday (the first friday right after thanks giving) which will be this year on the 28th?

The items do change sometimes on the actual day, but retailers are always trying to outdo eachother so may start offering the same items eariler. It really goes by retailer.
