Whats with my overclocking?

I went to bios and changed the CPU frequency to 333 mhz in the overclocking mode
Saved and exit
Now the processor speed showed on task manager is 3.16Ghz from 2.53Ghz
But the CPU Z shows core speed at 2663.18Mhz and FSB bus at 333Mhz
At idle mode
.....
Whats the deal with me!
Am i overclocked or not?

Your cpu speed is lower at idle or small load because of intels speed step tech. Open cpu-z and ,make your cpu work, and you'll see the frequency increase.
