i power on my computer and i hear fast beeps, this would mean i have faulty ram but i tested my ram on another board and it works. i tried the ram in every slot and tried to clear cmos many times. i thought maybe the cpu was broken because ram is dependent on cpu so if the ram cpu pins were broken then the ram would seem broken. but all my fans work so the cpu shouldnt be broken. i also thought maybe the motherboard is broken but there are beep codes so it shouldnt be. the power supply shouldnt be broken aswell as the fans are spinning and the mother board is beeping.

so after all that, i dont know what could be causing my computer to fail to post. my bet is on the motherboard but i dont really know.

specs:
amd a6 6400k
g skill 2x4 gb 2400 mhz oc
gigabyte f2a78m-d3h
thermalcool tr2 430w psu

the time you guys spend on wondering if it's the motherboard you could have already bought another new motherboard. or even a whole system.
I know money may be tight but just think, it just doesn't work and it's not a software issue you can fix yourself.
well are cpu pins broken? easily checked if you take the cpu out of its socket. are all the pins still straight?

as for making sure if mobo is faulty or not why not rma it or buy a new one to make sure? only way to make sure actually.

no i did not try using a different set but mine works. i dont have lights on ny case
