Whats wrong with my GPU?

Hi guys, I just bought a GTX 650 ti and installed it into my newly built pc. My PSU have 675watts and it is correctly installed into the motherboard. The fans work and everything, but when i try to run my dvi cable through that to my monitor, the screen is just blank. My bios are up to date, and my pc cant detect a graphics card plugged into my motherboard. What do i do? Drivers won't install because it doesn't detect an nvidia card.

what brand is your MB? Did you try the VGA?

Did you plug in the 6 pin power connector to the video card?

Try to re-seat it or try another slot. See if that helps. Can you try another cable, like an HDMI or another DVI?
