Last month I bought the Acer XF250Q Bbmiiprx and I just woke up, and for some reason, the display port just doesn't work. I tried plugging the port into 4 different Display ports on my graphics card (A 2070 super) but nothing helped.
But I plugged in an HDMI cable and that works! The thing is, I'm limited to only 120hz. So would there be any way I can fix that? Would using a display port to HDMI cable work?
Anyways would I be right to assume it's just something wrong with the monitor's single display port? Or is it something wrong with just the display port cable itself
Also, when I would turn the monitor off, and then the next day turn it back on and hoped on a game, it would flicker on and off. So would that have been a precursor to this happening?
