What's wrong with my Sony VAIO???

Ok. My Sony VAIO runs well. But it always lose its software (literally!) whenever I install something that windows didn't make. Install the Office Suite and Skype it will run well. But install Adobe Photoshop and Norton it won't. Is this a bug? Or just a software or hardware problem?

Adobe and Photoshop should install OK as long a they're legal copies.

Get someone else to try.

No. Everything. Say it, Adobe, Norton, Avast, Games, Etc. It won't work

Take it to a pc shop and get it checked.

By won't work, what exactly do you mean? Does the installer finish? Is it just that you can't run the program? Do you see files in "Program Files" for that program?
How many antivirus softwares do you have installed?
