As you guys know there's a website HowLongToBeat.com that basically has users enter the amount of hours it takes them to complete a game. Users provide 3 possible answers, how long it takes them to complete the Main Story, Main Story + Extras, and Completionist.

Users also enter the speed at which they play, Average, Median, Rushed and Leisure.

Before i buy video games i do tend to look at amount of hours but what i noticed was that the amount of time it takes me to complete a game is almost always exactly 2 times as most people on that website. It took me about 14 hours of gameplay to complete Crysis 3, people on the website do it at around 7. Took me about 90 hours to win DA: Inquisition vs website people being in 45 hour range, took me 70 hours to come close to finishing but actually not finishing Pillars of Eternity vs guys on the website being in 30-35 hour range.

My question is how do you like that website and do you generally look at the amount of hours before you pay for the game.

Mass Effect 2: 24.5 hours. Reality: 17 hours.
Tomb Raider: 11 hours. Reality: 8 hours.

And my personal favorite: Borderlands completionist: 57 hours. Reality: 11 hours per run (I like the game)
