only 3 game test... thats pretty low.

I feel strange about this article . i can get 425 core with my POWERCOLOR 9800pro and they only manage 410 with a reference ati... this is just ....not normal...........

Athlon 2700xp+ (oc: 3200xp+ with 200fsb) , Radeon 9800pro (oc: 410/370) , 512mb pc3200 (3-3-3-2), Asus A7N8X-X

they got unlucky with all the ati's?

No it appears that they got normal retail cards. Not hand picked super overclockers.Sometimes you are lucky and get a good one and sometimes not.

As an exampl most people are complaining about the NEW P4 2.6c SL6WS chips as bad overclockers. Well luckily mine will do 3.53@1.6v. I consider myself LUCKY.

Prefer Xbit's review.

More comprehensive, more tests.

I'll refer to this review just for temp and noise level readings.

I've questioned Anand's graphics reviews since getting a sponsored review of the FX5950 being allowed to release before all other reviewers NDA's expired. Can you say 'The Way It's Meant To Be Benchmarked'?

Better info from Xbit;
