Whats your reccomended temperture for the i7-4790K

It appears to be clocked at 4.3GHZ. I am using a Cosair H100i.

The idle temperatures are at 23 - 26C
On prime they go up to 74C

I've not tested general gaming yet.

What is your reconsiderations on the temperatures for these chips? Is that normal?

Yup, that's pretty normal, your components will last a long time just like mine

You're looking pretty good there. I'm running my 4790K at 4.6GHz with a similar cooler (Glacier 240L - expanded loop to include a GTX 980). My load temps are a little better than yours in games (usually around 60 - 64 c) but I am also using high static pressure fans. I'm assuming that Prime is beating you up more than gaming would so I'd expect your temps to fall closer to mine with gaming loads.

Either way 74 C is pretty good IMHO for a CPU getting abused.

for i7 4790K Tj Max=100C , safe up to 75C under full load . So the temp are fine .
