Question WHEA critical hardware error ?

Hi guys.
My father in law's PC had a crash and when I check the system management, it said WHEA hardware fatal error ID1, and this happened 1 day after I've installed Catalyst 22.11.2.
I've reinstalled windows 11 again, because even without crashing it was reporting the same error in system management all the time.

After I reinstalled Windows and installed the latest Catalyst drivers, it never happened again.
Can these type of errors be caused by drivers?

Yes, sometimes messy drivers causes it, but it might indicate the hardware does actually began to be faulty. Just see if in several months it messes up again.
