[SOLVED] WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE ERROR bluescreen on asus laptop

Hello everybody,
For the last few days, every time I boot into windows, 5 to 15 minutes later I get a whea_uncorrectable_error blue screen.
I've tried running the windows memory diagnostics tool but it said that there were no problems in the memory.

Here is the minidump file from today's bluescreen:

Laptop specifications: Intel Core i7 4700HQ 2.40GHz, 8 GB DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M, Windows 8.1 64-bit

reminder to self - this is a win 8 thread, not win 10

WHEA errors are either hardware errors or drivers
Its an error called by CPU but not necessarily caused by it
can be caused by overclocking - unlikely on a Laptop?
can be caused by over heating so clear out vents etc
can be caused by overclocking software - I don't see any in listing
can be caused by old device drivers
can be caused by any hardware (which makes it tricky)

Try updating your wifi drivers - https://support.killernetworking.com/download/killer-drivers-installation-64bit/ though based on age of Ethernet drivers (2019) I assume you use that.
I don't see any drivers that would stick out as being cause.

That specific software didn't open for some reason, but I manually updated my wifi driver to the latest version from the vendor's website.

well, your nvidia drivers have been crashing, although not at same time as errors...thats been happening since sept 19 though. might help to update them since they from 2017

hard to find them amongst all the failed windows updates.
