Lol, yeah, all of the above. I know, it sucks but you'll just have to play some games, I'd suggest not Civ as that seems non sequiter, but do play anything that does crash regularly
well that was painful but I got all the drivers updated...I think. I used device management and manually went through the drivers to check for updates. A few had them.

Do your worst. Whatever crashed the pc in the past is exactly what you want to repeat, try to crash it. There's quite a difference between running a few successful tests, and the methodical, deliberate attempts to make the pc fail.

Overclockers do it on a regular basis. They don't run stress tests to see if the pc will pass, they test to try and make it fail. It's only when they can no longer make it fail that the OC is a success.
