I'm a novice at pc gaming but have just purchased
microsoft flight sim and call of duty and plan to add an
auto racing game.

My question: Do I have to buy multiple controllers or
will a joystick be sufficient for all three types of
games: action, flight sim, and auto racing. Or would a
wheel and pedal set up be better.

bob,

not sure about ction games. but for flightsims i use a forcefeedback
joystick.
i am told that a joystick is good for military jets and the alike. a yoke
and pedals would be ideal for standard aircraft. but for racing sims imho,
you really need a forcefeedback wheel with pedals.
