I have been overclocking my Athlon x4 760k by increasing the clock by 100 mhz each interval and running prime95 in between each one. I am currently at 4.6 ghz and over 1.5v. The cpu is throttling and I am wondering if this is my limit? Also, where should I set the clock now? Thanks.

Solution
If you are throttling then you OC is to much for your cooling solution. back down the clock and voltage till you stop throttling under full load using Intel Burn Test (set memory to max and set runs to 40) If you do not throttle and past this test you have reached your max for the cooling you have.

EDIT: ITB heats up a CPU much more than Prime95 and works on all CPU's

start by finding out what is throttling it ... and ask someone what motherboard and cooler you bought ;) and what are the temperatures...
i think it's a great possibility all of these things have some sort of magical effect on the cpu

however when IBT passes with no problem prime fails on my fx-6350 so don't go too soft on it... it always takes higher mhz for IBT to show instability

I have experienced the opposite myself. I always use Prime95 and ITB together (not at the same time) to know stability. OCCT is the worst offender for CPU's that I have found for not catching instability issues. It's great for GPU testing but CPU is worthless IMO.

when i used it for core2duo and core2quad testing ibt screwed them very fast ... but for the FX's... prime is not their friend at all... OCCT yes.. doesn't seem to do much to the cpu
