Pressing motherboard while I'm trying to install components on the mobo can cause Motherboard failure ? How to check motherboard status ? Beep codes ? where to find if mobo has problem ?

If you have the standoffs correctly installing and don't jump up and down on it, and don't have it powered, then it shouldn't.
