When booting computer, led light turns on and the fans turn on, however, the monitor doesn't respond

This ones a doozy and I'm sorry but please bear with me through this. I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to computers but I'm not completely clueless so here we go.

About two months ago my computer started freezing. When it froze, either the mouse light was off or the keyboard lights were off. After this happened a couple times I thought the drivers were the issue, so I installed some new drivers and that seemed to fix the issue. When it started happening again I scoured the Internet and found it might be a BIOS issue and that I should update it. So I found a software that would update my BIOS and that actually fixed the issue for a little while. It worked until about a week ago, the computer started freezing just after booting, so I'd get my startup screen with all my applications and downloads but it would freeze after about five minutes of running. This continued to the point that I'm at now and the main issue.

ISSUE: When I press the power button, the fans work and the led light on the front turns on. However the monitor doesn't respond and keyboards I've used don't respond. The mouse, on the other hand, doesnt turn on but the sensor light on the bottom flickers.

Here's what I know:
- It's not the power source, since I just purchased a new one and the problem persists. That's why I've decided to come here and get some more expert help before I waste anymore money

- It doesn't seem to be a graphics card issue. I've removed the graphics card and plugged the monitor into the motherboard and the problem persists

- When the problem started, the boot up beeps would be 2 with one second pause then 5 then after 10 seconds 1 more beep. However, after unplugging the power source, and holding down the power button for about 30 seconds, there's only one beep now

I will be happy to provide more specific information but at this point, I'm not sure what would be considered helpful. Thank you.

That is to say take the motherboard out f the case, unhook the power button, usb jumpers, and all use the onboard video and do not even plug in a keyboard or mouse. just the one monitor and a single stick of ram. use a electronics screwdriver to jump the motherboard where the power button would go, see it is gives you a bios screen (no cd/dvd/blueray drives or hdd/ssd either) if you get nothing then change the ram, if that does not work you can try a different power supply. if all of the above is done and still no post then your mobo or cpu is toast. If it does work start adding back components till it stops working, my instincts are basd case usb ports when it does this or a failed keyboard/mouse plugged into the modo, you can check that first but again that would be my first thought.
