I am not sure. Some people mentioned that Btrfs NAS is better at protecting data. I read several people who bought DS220j or its former model ended up buying one with Btrfs. Not sure if it is a good idea to have it so I want to ask the experts here.
If you were me, would you spend more to buy a NAS with Btrfs?"protecting data" happens with a second/third copy. An automated backup.
A single copy of the file, no matter what file system, is subject to loss from many different directions.
From QNAP, on BTRFS:If you were me, would you spend more to buy a NAS with Btrfs?
What is your actual question?I am particularly needed nas to store my ML result what would be the best setting for that?
