When do you think RAM will go on sale

I'd like to buy a batch of 32 GB ram sticks but even though its Labor Day weekend newegg doesn't seem to have any on sale. Do you guys think they'll go on sale during cyber monday or some other holiday coming up. Or am I stuck at this price point ($235). I'd also like to mention I'm buying DDR3 for my Ivy Bridge if that matters. Maybe that's just as low as it's going to get for me.

Well, yes and no.
There is the traditional "Black Friday/Cyber Monday" thing. The day after (US) Thanksgiving and the following Monday.
In reality, that is the period from 1 Nov to 15 Jan.

But, I've purchased the exact same part in July for less than it was when "on sale" for Black Friday.
Last year, I bought 32GB DDR3 for a system. Early November.
Price was $170, $165, $170...one day, it was $125. BUY. Next day, back up to $165.

Just have to keep an eagle eye out for if what you want goes on sale somewhere.
