When ever my computer monitor goes into sleep mode I can't wake it up?

Hello, when ever my monitor goes into sleep mode I can't wake it up, like I'll press enter then it will light up to a very dark shade blue, but then I can't do anything more, I can temporarily fix it by unplugging the dvi cord and plugging it back in. But it's becoming very frustrating. Please help

Try setting your monitor to constant wake mode, then on the computer, set up the sleep mode.
In this way, the computer actually sleeps but the monitor doesnt, instead of vice versa.
Otherwise, you could just keep them both constantly on.
