When higher clock ram is inserted,what happens?

My motherboard is-Gigabyte GA H61M-S1

My motherboard has 2 slots.
I had 4gb in one slot and i want to buy this another 4gb kingston ram
My old 4gb Ram has a very lower clock.
The problem is that my motherboard supports 1333Mhz of ram.
and this Ram has 1800Mhz.
Will it support?
Or
Is there any way to lower the ram's clock speed.

It mostly like will stop your PC from working. Only a 2 x 4gb kit is guaranteed to work.

Next most likely is that 2 identical (in every way) sticks will work.

Any others will only have a 0.1% chance of working. Only a 2 x 4gb kit is guaranteed to work.

You can change settings in bios. But this will not overcome differences in ram. Since DDR3 came out, you need to have an exact and tested match.
