When I dont use the PC for many hours, Firefox logs me out of everything, why?

When you say "logs out" meaning it actually exits out of your logged on accounts so you need to put in your password in all of them again? But the web sites stay open? Could simply be a time out on them when there is no activity, a lot of programs do that for security. Have you done any modifications to the registry or policies on the system?
