When i install second processor on the server it does not boot

When i install second processor on the server to increase speed then it does not boot. do i need another power supply unit?

It could be that the 2 processors are drawing to much power? So you could need a higher wattage PSU but I am a novice so it might not be right.

the server has one 1000watts existing power supply so i have bought another 1000 watts power supply, is recommended to plug both two power suppliers since the motherboard has two power slots?

check the wattage of the processors, the same of each is reccomended. then add them together with the other components and check if its more than 1000 watts, if its not then i dont know it is then use the other psu as well. that should fix it
