[SOLVED] When i log into my user profile i have to type explorer.exe to start windows

I was playing doom eternal and i pressed control alt delete and was going to minimize the program but i accidently clicked 'log out' when i logged back in to my user profile i got a black screen and tiny cmd promd that just says system32, if i type explorer.exe and press enter it starts like normal and everything works fine. I have no idea what to do I've already tried a few things and nothing worked so far i really don't want to reinstall windows.

I followed this and specifically after deleting %comspec% it fixed it.

Anybody know why this would have happened?

No, but since you second person in 2 days I helped with it, maybe it was a windows update?
