When I plug in my power cable to the pc it sparkles, the pc wont start

Lately i had problems turning on my pc after shutting it off but i was always able to get it going after some bothering but today i noticed that when i plug in the power cable i can hear sparking and smell a bit of burning
I checked and the reciever was a bit burned and now no matter what i try the pc wont start
What should i do?

It sounds like there is something wrong with the power supply and it needs to be replaced.

This doesn't sound like something you repair.

Yeah, had that problem before and the PSU needs replacing. What is the model name?

Are you sure that’s your power supply cable is fully plugged in. That happened to me once. My computer was shutting down randomly and I heard the psu make sparkle sounds when I tried plugging my power cable into my pc, I had to push it in harder till it locked in place.
