Question When I start my PC with a new CPU installed, the VGA light comes on ?

MSI A520M-A PRO motherboard, Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, and an RX 580 GPU.
I'm having this problem when I change from ryzen 5 2600 to 5 5600. The PC won't start, and the vga light is on. I've tried updating the BIOS, but it didn't help. All the components are fully functional. Please help me.

We're going to need a little more info. When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

I'm having this problem when I change from ryzen 5 2600 to 5 5600.
You're advised to update the BIOS with the older processor, clear the CMOS and then drop the latter processor onto the socket.
