[SOLVED] When I start up my pc with my external HDD plugged in, my gpu will crash ?

My motherboard will light up the vga Red light, indicating it has problems.
Idk why its happening, but when I try the same external HDD on my laptop it boots just fine?
Its not a big problem since i can simply unplug the HDD and PC then starts up fine.

does hdd have its own power source? Might be taking too much over the USB cable to allow PC to also start GPU.

Is it USB? Might want to consider a powered hub.
