When I try download Realtek Drivers it doesn't do anything!!

So I've had some issues with my audio, and a lot of people said just install Realtek drivers. Apparently, it's not as easy as that. I've downloaded the drivers from both my motherboards website and Realtek's codec download but it just stays on "High Definition Audio Device". I feel it just restarts my device for no reason at all.

My PC
- AMD FX-6300 (3.4Ghz / 4.0+Ghz on Turbo)
- Asus M5A78L/USB3 Motherboard
- GeForce 750Ti
- 16GB DDR3

Driver issue - - Asus have not released any Windows 10 drivers for that motherboard:

Windows 8/8.1 drivers (or at least some of them) may not work on Windows 10

So what am I supposed to do in the meantime, my microphone has decided to stop working and produce distorted sound?

Upgrade your motherboard to one which supports Windows 10, or install an older version of Windows (8.1 or older) that your existing motherboard supports.

If I get a soundcard would that be another solution?

Yes the soundcard is actually the best option for you and you’ll get better sound on it

Does it have to be an expensive one?

Nope. But if you’re an audiophile and need an expensive one I am sure you can get one
