When I turn on my pc, no light fans or anything turns on. I got a new motherboard and it still is the same thing. would my psu be causing the issue.
Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

EVGA 100-B1-0700-K1 700W SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Power Supply

Check through fully every connector, especially those two from the psu to the motherboard.
Check that the memory modules are seated correctly in their respective memory slots.
Check that the cpu is correctly mounted.
Check that the 12V power connectors to the graphics card is properly inserted and the card itself is properly inserted to its PCI-E slot (if you have such a card).

Best regards from Sweden

Hi to know the trouble cause in your computer, you need to remove that PSU in the case and check outside using voltmeter. You can powerup it by jumpering the green wire and the black wire if this will powerup use the voltmeter to measure voltage output standard. The red wire is 5 volts, the yellow is 12 volts, the orange is 3.3 volts. If this voltage is not present during test replace that PSU, obeserve also that the voltage output is also lower than what I said. If this voltage are present correctly check the powerbutton of your front panel and the power connector connected in the power connectors of your mobo. Check also the power cord, ups or AVR if this device produces output correctly.

I accidentally rubbed the edge of the cpu on a box and it touched some of the bottom part. im kinda new so i didnt know if that was bad.
