I think I raised similar questions long time ago but sorry I messed up things and I really want to know ask again more clearly and make myself more clear of something

When I visit a website with a browser on PC, e.g. Chrome, Firefox etc, what is the kind of possible information that can be obtained by the site? What I know is - My IP (so my approximate geometrical location), my hardware configuration, my browser's version, from all my understanding Nothing is identifying. Is there any other possible information that can be obtained without user's consent or
consciousness?

( of course not including things I knowingly enter and send to them)

Hi,

There is certain information that a website learns before you type anything on it. That data may not seem personal. However, it could reveal more than you wish. The following information a website can gather about you.

  1. They can know your exact city by tracing your IP Address.
  2. They know the referral sites that mean from where you came from. They have the referral data which shows the source from where you land on the website.
  3. They know the device you are using and the operating system of your device.
The best way to get rid of it is to Feed them with Disinformation. VPN is an effective method to do this and apart from VPN, you can browse anonymously. It is a way to connect through a secure anonymizing proxy.

I hope this will be a beneficial piece of information for you.

Any more information you can think of and would you please exhaust all the possibilities? As soon as you enter a URL and hit to get to the site. Not something you consciously enter with keyboard and provide to them.
