Norton Ghost. You could also use a free alternative like Clonezilla or FOG Project, or paid alternatives such as SmartDeploy or Lite-Touch.

My school uses Lite-Touch for x86 and x64 versions of windows with multiple images with many programs. We use Clonezilla for our Linux laptops, keeping one 'master' computer that we copy to image.

Thanks for this guys, I have used both clonezilla and ghost in the past but didn't know that they would create an exe based on the difference between a before and after image. I'll try reading up a bit more. Thanks!

Ghost 15 works great with Windows versions up through 7, but not 8 or 10. Symantec bought Ghost and has taken it off the market. :-( I've been using Easeus Todo Backup Free for the last 5 years, and am very happy with it. It's free for home use, and there's a paid version for business use.
