When I was Installing windows 10

I pressed the install button while downloading windows 10 then it went full screen and started installing. Then I pressed cancel because i still wanted to use my laptop before it installed. Will it install if I shut down or do i have to go through the entire download process again. Please respond. Btw i was upgrading from windows 7 if that helps at all.

The installation files are probably already downloaded to your device. It won't have to download them again.

If you weren't ready to go through the whole install, why did you start it?

I just wanted it ready to install once I was done with by work. I didn't know it would actually install then.
