When is needed to attach extra internal power cords

My gv-n680oc-4gd came with 3 internal power cords, do I need to connect them?

Yes. The additional power connections are to provide the video card with power. There is not enough power supplied by the PCI slot.

Make sure you have at least a 550W power supply - you probably need larger depending upon your complete computer setup.

If you have the required PCI-e power connectors already available from your PSU then you wouldn't need the connectors included with the video card.
