When is Newegg going to send an email?

I am guessing that any of you to who it is relevant have already seen the news announcement about Newegg's checkout blunder. Apparently code was injected into their checkout that caused every transaction that occurred to be happening through a "hacked" checkout.

I order lots of stuff from Newegg, but due to issues with my bank and Newegg insistence that you use "Google checkout" (or whatever it's called) as a card verification, I have it tied to my Paypal.

I have yet to see anything official come in from Newegg making an announcement, or any strange charges through Paypal or my bank. I don't like reading things like this in the news before I have heard anything from a vendor that knows good and well it happened.

Should I assume they are taking a 'head in the sand' approach, or are only contacting people whom were effected?

I wouldn't. I would make sure PayPal is all two step verification, as well as ALL your stuff. time to change passwords (passphrases are much better)

I already changed my Pay Pal password. I would suggest you change everything that was tied to New Egg as well
