Question When is OC stable?

I have my 8700k OC'd to 5ghz on 1.27vcore. There is no AVX offset and I have a Noctua NH-D15S. I am running Prime 95 (small fft) right now with 85c on average and 90c max on only one core. Cinebench doesn't get above 73c for example. How long do I need to run prime for, I don't like running the temps so high but want to be stable.

It's stable when you don't experience problems/crashes in your daily use. IMO you don't need to stress test it to death with Prime, if it crashes in your daily use, you know you should go lower clocks. So if you are able to game/edit without crashes (and decent temps ofcourse), it's fine.

For CPU OCs, I run each Prime test (small & large) for 2-4 hours.
