sometime in oct is the lanch date here in the us. so that pc vendors will be able to sell new pc for the holidays.

--> I wouldn't be too quick to 'upgrade' just yet - do a little more research on Win8 1st, especialy the view in Tom's forums and other reputable.

Or he could form his own opinion instead of some one else's. But if Windows 7 is working awesome so will Windows 8 with out a doubt.

Microsoft has already confirmed that Windows 8 will be available at retail on October 26th.
