Question When playing games in Fullscreen they freeze.

Basically, I can load up a game and then it runs fine for a bit but then it just stops. Not like the game crashes, I can still hear audio and actually move around in the game its just that the image is frozen. If I change the game to windowed it's fine again but then I go back to fullscreen and it freezes. If I alt tab back into the game while it's in fullscreen I can play for like a second and then it freezes again. Even if I restart the game it still does the freezing thing. Things like chrome are fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated !
