I recently upgraded to a GTX 1080ti. It was working fine to start with, I hadn't really put any stress into it. I recently tried to do a benchmark and after a short amount of time the GPU stopped sending a signal to the monitor. I was watching on the temperature on a separate monitor and it didn't even get up to 50C(separate monitor was running on on-board graphics.). Just before the screen stopped recieving input the screen froze and large yellow blocks appeared all over the screen, they were around half inch by half inch in size. I have tried the graphics card in a different slot as well as reinstalling the driver. The graphics card is a ASUS 1080ti Founders Edition.
I was running the 3D Mark Fire Strike bench mark.
Side Question: Would this be able to run HTC Vive as is or should I change to my 1070?
My pc specs:
-ASUS 1080ti FE
-ASUS Z170 Gaming Aura
-EVGA 850W Super Nova
-I7 7700K
-G.Skill Rip Jaws 5
