Is was on war thunder last night I was playing on 2k resolution on high I was getting 80-130+ fps so I thought I would try and record again as soon as it started recording my fps went below 30fps and as low as 17fps I was recording in 1080p and the same thing happens when I play in 1080p this is so frustrating ?? any help? This happens in every game

Where is the game installed? What drive are you recording to? If both actions are happening on the same drive, this will explain the loss of FPS. The game should be on the SSD and record to the HDD. With your current setup, this will give you the best performance for recording.

Some games are installed on my ssd and some on my 1tb hdd, and the drive changes depending on where the game is saved and I did have that set up when I only has gta saved on my ssd and that was the only game installed on my system at the time
