How can I determine the battery health in a laptop?
There are apps like batteryinfoview that tell you the battery health, but it doesn't tell you what's good or bad (something like "replace if 80% or less" or similar).
Please correct me if I'm wrong: the battery health can be worked out by running the command batterycfg /batteryreport and dividing Full Charge Capacity / Design capacity. ...but, what value is the minimum for a reasonable battery health?
I googled for this and got disparate results, for example, I read that batteries in Mac laptops should be replaced if health is under 80%. While for Windows laptops, the battery should be replaced if less than 40%.
Any insights much appreciated
