After some experimentation, I unplugged the CPU 8-Pin connector and the computer stayed on indefinitely but didn’t post.
My system is
i5 6600k (used for four years)
4x4 sticks of 2600 ddr4
Corsair HX850W
NZXT Z370 - B1
EVGA FTW HYBRID GTX 1070

If anyone has an idea, please let me know.

Solution
The 6600k isn't compatible with a Z370 board. Z370 = 8th and 9th Gen CPU's.

Sorry board is not compatible with 6th Gen CPU's.

Get a Z170 or Z270 board for the 6600k or get an 8600k for the Z370 board you have.
