When To Upgrade

I currently am running an i7-4790k and a GTX 760. My CPU is great so I don't need to upgrade that, but I know my GPU is lacking. I have enough money for a 970 or possibly a 980, but I know the new cards are going to be coming out sometime soon (few months is what I've heard) Should I wait to upgrade to the 1000 series or whatever it's called, or buy a 970/980 now?

That is totally up to your patience and your budget. Upgrade now if you want instant satisfaction. Hold off if you have the patience. Do both if you have the cash.

the first week in april is the paper launch of pascal with the cards dropping in may.
