Will AMD and Intel be on sale on Nov or Dec? I will buy a new CPU. I want to save money for making a new gaming computer.

Will AMD or Intel be reliable?

I see Fry's ad has many sale for Labor's Day. Should I buy them or wait until December/November when the price hits the bottom?

AMD and Intel are not going to be on sale (Atleast not so soon )

Regarding their processors... They will be on sale on Nov/Dec but they are on sale now too!

Both are reliable and will give you years of service! No doubt about that.

I would say buy now.

The i3 540 is $79.99 in at least one of fry's stores today. Best deal on an Intel cpu you will find now. But it's not online. And fry's doesn't offer any mobo-cpu combo deals anymore. This may be a permanent change.

I heard the combo deals are a thing of the past, at least the ones that basically gave away the motherboards. They lost money to get people in the store to try to spend money on other things. It didn't work, people came in for the deals and listed them on Ebay. I am guilty of this. I made quite a few dollars.
